    Congratulations, I bet it's been a long road. 5 years for my husband and I and we have just about given up hope. But your story will help us holding on to hope that one day we will be able to share a similar story!

      A lawyer is bound to represent their client and generally has to go by their client's wishes and the information the client gives them. Your ex's lawyer is under no obligation to represent you, why would you expect otherwise?

      A judge is doing a different job. It's like you are surprised that the guy who did carpentry for your ex-husband is now a good plumber. You know nothing about the man.
