If both parties agree can an old consent order be amended and filed with the court without getting lawyers involved?

I believe its just a consent motion to change but I could be wrong!

Two people can update their agreement at any time and don't require the court to make an order. If you agree then agree and move forward. 99.9% of people do not need court orders to parent.
