What is a valid electronic signature when agreeing to a consent?

    a) A document using Words signature font for a signature.
    b) A copy and paste of a picture of a signature.
    c) An unverfied print out of a docusign document that is just the consent itself.
    d) none of the above.

I was using PDF signature, that is nothing more than a name typed in signature font. In some cases law clerk was asking to sign in front of them (over zoom), in some not. Court was happy with that. Technically speaking yes, it doesn't have any security whatsoever.
DocuSign or similar on the other hand is at least somewhat more secure (commonly used by realtors)

We have had MS Signature Font for decades but still put pen to paper.
What is to stop the lawyer "signing" for the client because lawyers are the most honest and trustworthy people in the world.

Realtors use docusign but the whole process is done via docusign and there is a whole contract and verifiable back up for those signatures and that is Real Estate law.

I did read that judges can use electronic signing for orders if they are remote in the FLR but did not see anything on others being allowed to do this.

        (D) none of the above until such time the courts go properly digital.
