An interesting article. Too late for me as well. Some days I'm happy I stayed other days I'm not.

I grew up never meeting any divorced people until I was in around grade 8. I've talked about this with many childhood friends. Consensus is that it wasn't terribly socially acceptable to be a divorced single parent in those days. Most of the kids I grew up with also came from church-going families. I believe alot of people who were unhappy probably became alcoholics. I do recall that many friends had cabins at lakes where the mom stayed all summer long with the kids. Interesting to reflect on this.
