  • Cost award on motion

    Hi

For cost awards In motions if the moving party wins and if a judge writes...

If parties can't agree then they make submissions...

How does that play out? My lawyer said we got a cost award..but judge is not clear

The judges pretty much always say that. If the judge is asking you to make cost submissions first, then you probably won.

      Thx Janus

In theory if it is written if parties can't agree on costs do written submissions, father first, then mother then father

      Hope you are doing well

Well, make an offer to the mother, and if she doesn't agree then send in your written submissions.

But yes, if it is written like that, then you likely won
