Changes to the Family Law Rules happen almost monthly.
Even seasoned lawyers mis updates on important things like timelines for filing responses "oops, they changed the rules we should have filed yesterday" https://www.ontario.ca/laws/regulation/990114 These posted laws are behind the current laws and rules, https://www.ontario.ca/laws/about-e-laws#ccl Quote: Current consolidated laws are usually current to the e-Laws currency date. Today, April 28, 2022 the e-Laws currency date is January 30, 2022." Then there is "Notice to Profession": https://www.ontariocourts.ca/scj/not...-19/notice-to/ What is the best way to identify and be informed of changes? How often does one need to check? thanks. |
