  • Wife may refuse return to home country with kids

We are planning to visit our home country in May this year. I believe my wife will refuse return to Canada and refuse handling the kids as well. Is this possible for her to refuse kids to dad without any court order? We are living together in Canada in same house but we do have several differences and are broken.
Anything I should do to keep myself and my kids protected.
Kids are twin girls 9 yr olds, very attached to me, even more than their own mom

Yes it is possible and you will be in an expensive legal nightmare if you want them back. You will need to file in court, get an order and then she must return them but there are so many places to hide.
If things are that bad then get a divorce, it sucks but the alternative is worse.
Trust the little voice inside your head or not. Up to you.
