  • Is the court taking sides?

It is been over 8 months and court has not released decision on a motion . we pushed for a settlement conference to get the matter on track for trial, still the endorsement from that settlement conference has not been released for 2 months after and no next step provided.

What can we do? request another SC? write to the LAJ? regional judge? It feels that the courts is not helping to move the matter forward.

Hello all, does anyone have an advice or way to approach this delay by the court. Motion decision on a single issue (heard by motion judge) has now been reserved for 1 year. Parties had SC (before case manager) 4 months ago but that endorsement is also pending. We wrote to the trial coordinator to look in to these outstanding court endorsements but no response. Nothing is moving in this matter

Is it time to write to the LAJ or the regional judge? motion are supposed to provide ban aid/temporary relief but still waiting a year for that 'relief' is shameful for a organ that is supposed to promote justice and fairness.

I'm not sure if this would help, but perhaps try contacting your MP? It's super frustrating and is holding things up.

do you have a lawyer? what do they say?

Have you tried contact a clerk at the courthouse? A year for a motion decision sounds excessively long.
