  • time limit to file settlement conference

    As the initiator of a settlement conference, what is the time limit to file? i keep hearing 7 days, but also hear 4 days.


    Please advice

    6 days (used to be 7)

    Don’t count weekends.

        The responding party has no later than 4 days to file response.

        When in doubt, always consult the online Family Law Rules (FLRs).

        Then, as per Rule 17(14), you and other party must file (or fax) confirmation form no later than 2pm, 3 days before the conference.
