  • parenting agreement and legal terms

We have a parenting agreement draft but the mediator has nothing in there about what I would think would be the legal terms...something like "primary residence with mom, living with dad on alternate weekends and on wed evenings from 5-8:30. joint decision making in effect".

Should I push for having something that has some sort of legal term in it? I've not taken it to a lawyer yet but hoping to get an answer that is a little cheaper than my lawyer!

I haven't dealt with a mediator but is it possible that the legalese WILL be added when it is formally drafted by a law clerk?
Then you can sign it when you're happy with all the terminology.
