    Are there public records to see if someone is divorced in Ontario?

    this document describes the process. It looks like there's a national registry that can give you some information, then you have to get the actual status from the courthouse that granted the divorce.

        A good "process server" should be able to get you the order for divorce and any related court records. Mind you it can get expensive at 1$ a page. If you wanted to say get one poster to this forum's file it would be quite expensive. 25kg of paper is a lot of paper to copy at 1$ a page.
