New here, just found this forum. My Legal Aid lawyer took me to motion last Friday to have herself removed from the record. She said that there was a breakdown in communication and that I would not listen to her advice. Just briefly, I was tired of being bullied into accepting any crap that was thrown at me just because as she put it "he has the money and you don't". Anyways my question is there in now a court order removing her from the record, do I have to now serve and file a Notice of Change of Representation, or does the court order take care of that?

What did your former lawyer say? She at least owes you that. Then avail yourself of FLIC. If she doesn't answer you, go tot he courthouse and find out what has been done and ask FLIC.
