Jehovah's Witness grandparents ordered to keep faith to themselves

There's a link to the ruling at the end of the article.

Their link didn't work for me, but I found it on CanLII myself.

    CanLII - 2015 BCPC 285 (CanLII)

Very interesting indeed. The grandparents weren't just seeking to impose their religion on the child, they also wanted every weekend unsupervised and extra time on holidays, in addition to what their son, the child's father, received (which didn't appear to be much). The judge pretty much observed that they wanted to take over parenting.

The grandparents have gone from having the child unsupervised for several overnights a week and doing childcare while the mother worked, to having one hour a month of contact in the mother's home while she supervises. All because they couldn't keep their religion to themselves. Ouch.
