To the OP.

You seem like you are capable of understanding the numbers (being a book keeper and all). Determine a lump sum and end the marriage and the connection. If you fight, the lawyers will take more than it is worth on both sides, and the emotional toll will be immeasurable.

You are a smart cookie - take your time reading and looking at the math. Then figure how to get out and separate without and on going connection - the value in doing that to you, your ex, and your children is beyond $.

Seriously - you don't need lawyers and business advisers - it is clear you can figure this out on your own. Then you can come to an agreement and have it written up by a lawyer and get out of the stress - that is the biggest favour you can do for yourself.

As a side note, it is very possible that the company value is $0 as you say your husband IS the company. Even though your value to the company is not $0, if he walks away, so does the company (so you say) and therefore, it is worth nothing on its own or at least close to nothing - again this is something I'll bet you can determine on your own.
