  • Custody dispute ends in death of father

Fascinating article in the star today about a custody dispute that led to the murder of the paternal grandparents ( who had custody at one point) and later the murder of the father once he got out of jail ( he had sole custody). It also involves child abduction by the mother and her new husband ( they took the kids across Canada coast to coast).

Can one of you tech wizards please post the link to the article.

    Thanks

No worries, murder is legal in Canada.

... as long as it's perpetrated by the woman, or at least on behalf of the woman in a legitimate context such as a divorce or custody dispute.

        That’s the article dad2bandm.

In this case you’re wrong Coolguy41. The father in this case had drug and alcohol problems and had been in jail but he was not the abuser. The ex wife was the abuser and the one who abducted the kids with her new husband.

Horrific that she managed to convince her new husband to partake in her twisted sceme to permanently dissolve access to the father and his family. Then to top it off, the police and coroners office were incompetent which ultimately resulted in the father’s death as well. Outrageous!

People get away with murder when police muck up the investigation, yes. Awful situation.

Two things about this story have always bothered me (yes I followed it):

First that they killed THREE people over several years. It wasn’t just killing the ex, it was the whole family several years apart. (Plus the excuse that he was only going to scare him but wore gloves, throw away shoes and carried a bat).

Second that these two kids now live with the fact that their mother orchestrated the murder of their beloved grandparents and father. I hope they have had extensive therapy.

As for the cops...there have been a number of bunglings in the GTA it seems...
