    I want to know what you all do to relax or chill out... speak up

        Canoeing

        I went canoeing yesterday…….it was beautiful. I took my daughter with me…she is getting much better at helping paddle. We saw an owl…it was day time…is this normal for owls? I thought they only flew at night.

            Well to relax

            I practice a Russian MArtial Art called Systema. The headquarters of which is is Canada.

            Its a 1000 year old Martial art, that is now larger done by the Russian Military.

            Its rough but by golly its a stress releiver!

              honestly, I clean, deep clean house, with my favorite music playing. Nothing says happy like a destressed mom and a clean house.

                Well, I used to drink beer to relax. Now, I stick with Diet Faygo Redpop and Marlboro Lights!

                    I do many different things through my Church. I read LOTS of books and I like going to yard sales.

                      This is cheap...exercise.!

                      Go swimming at your local sports centre.
                      I go almost every night ....then, no problem sleeping.

                      Presently I have the children so cooking and cleaning keeps me busy.

                        Relax Methods

                        Wow...there are so many things.
                        Fishing, a walk, clean.
                        Split some firewood and then stack it
                        Play with my kids.
                        Since my separation I have picked up my guitar again (after about 15 years) and am relearning. That is a good stress reliever.
                        And of course ... exercise. Fortunately I have access to a gym everyday, so I work out everyday at lunch for about 45 minutes.
                        I feel great, and according to some women, I look good too

                          relaxing -

                          I play my favorite music (it has to be "new" to me, as anything from the past just reminds me of my memories) and dance. It is the only technique to relax that I have found to work for me, besides sharing my thoughts with anyone that has been through a divorce.
