It also seems to verge on deviating from no-fault divorce, in that the one spouse had always encouraged the other to find a better job, and the refusal to do so contributed to the marriage breakdown. So for the judge to say that the one spouse did not deserve significant SS because they could have found a better job during the course of the marriage but simply chose not to is very interesting and could lead to a lot.
