Default MIP Session

Hi All,

Does anyone know the consequences of not attending an MIP session?

My ex is out of the country and I doubt she will make the trip back for it.

Thanks

She cannot take any further step in the case. If she is the applicant she can file a reply to your applications and schedule a case conference. Or, if she is the respondent she can file her response and financial statement and schedule a case conference. But that's it.

Until she has her certificate of attendance filed she cannot take any further steps to bring the matter forward.

You pretty much can't appear before a judge before MIP is completed.
