Daycare and Divorcemate

Total Daycare cost for two year $8600.00 lets say it was to be split 50/50. One person paid and claimed (this is for 2 years worth) The other has to pay their share. does anyone know apporixmately Divorcemate will calculate to give the proper amount

Based on the little info given, the only answer possible is $4300. The only thing that might affect it would be if there were tax reductions to the person who claimed it. Or if it was split proportional to income, not 50-50.

Yeah, daycare is considered an extra curricular child expense and generally should be split proportional to each parent's income. I don't think the tax advantage is relevant in the calculation.
