Default Sooo frustrated

Its been over 2 years. I'm struggling financially. The ex is basically lying about everything: real price the boat would sell for, money he makes under the table. I owe my parents money around 68,000- down payment on home, and money for a used vehicle. I haven't went to court and my lawyer basically said just get it over with. I am currently trying to get in touch with his old employees to at least get them to say he makes cash under the table. Owing his own business - says his business is worth nothing. I'm sick of it... and wish he would just draw up the sep. agreement and get it over with. I have 1 kid and another lives with me part time- luckily he agreed to pay 800 child support which is helping alot. The spousal home was sold... I put a hold on the money until he got together a fair sep. agreement. What options are there? Any ideas. I just can't get past the lieing and sense of unfairness. What bothers me is that he has all the cash assets because of my pension from work. Just whining in frustration. Just feel there's no option and no choices but to suck it up. Would it be better to go to court?

Going to court is a gamble. You might get some or all of what you want and be awarded costs, Or you might get nothing and have to pay costs. Before going to court you must have a really strong argument for what you are seeking. If he's self-employed, it's difficult (well nigh impossible) to prove or disprove what he is earning. Get used to the lying and unfairness, cause it's going to keep happening. You can't stop that. What you CAN control is your reaction/response to it. Accept that there isn't much you can do about it and get your own life in order as best as you can under the present circumstances. It won't be easy, but you can do it. And things will improve...with time.

If his business is worth nothing, then have an income imputted to him based on what he should be capable of making.

Or request bank records/etc for his personal and business accounts. I highly doubt that he has the $$$ from the cash under the table work under his mattress.
