  • steps to filing for settlement conf (self-represented)

I was initially using a lawyer, but after $4000 in bills and being no further ahead than I was on day 1, I'm now representing myself. I am the respondent in the case. I received notification of an upcoming settlement conference from my ex's lawyer 2 weeks ago. I also received his settlement conference brief 1 week ago today. I completed a settlement conference brief of my own, form 17C. What are the steps to filing it? Are there any other forms I have to prepare, such as 6B Affidavit of Service for when I bring a copy to his lawyer? I know I need to give a copy to the court and a copy to his lawyer, and of course keep one for myself.

    Thanks in advance.
