  • Childrens furniture?

Should one parent get the main dwelling and the other has to move out to another dwelling, are both parents responsible finanacially for ensuring both households have the necessary furniture to accomodate the children as they move from home to home?

My wife and I have agreed to buy single beds for the current dwelling, of course I would have to pay half. What about when I get my own dwelling, would she be entitled to pay half as well?

Question boils down to this ... once parents are seperated, are both parents responsible financially for items regarded as necessary for the kids?

The onus goes to each parent to furnish their own dwelling to accomodate the children and this would include the children's beds etc
