  • stop travel out of country

    http://www.ottawadivorce.com/forum/f...n-assets-6990/

I received some very good advise from people regarding the above thread.

But I was advised by the FLC that I did not have an emergency situation
regarding my wife taking son out of country for one month.
And furthermore to use a lawyer to settle custody and financial issues all together.(I also make too much money for me to use the FLC as well??)

So after my lawyer sent a letter to my wife(one month ago) there has been no response and she will be leaving in 2 weeks with son.

I had signed a note that I drew up giving permission for this travel..months ago...before we sold our house and separated..

But since she has changed her mind and is stonewalling any separation agreement/child custody I feel compelled to stop her taking son out of country. Also she is making access to him tricky and she is psychologically manipualting him...asking him what he wants..he's only 9yrs old!

Now my lawyer is away as well...so I cannot seek advice from her...

Does anybody know if its within my legal rights to stop this travel
(altho I have previously signed a consent)?
