  • How divorce is like being a POW

    Being in the middle of a court active divorce has many similarities to being a POW such as:

    - you are surrounded by hostiles
    - you don't know who to trust
    - you're trapped against your will
    - if you try to escape they will find you
    - Torture is a reality
    - your basic human rights are defiled
    - you are stripped of all your possessions
    - men, women , children are all treated with equal disdain

    And...

    -not everyone makes it out alive!

      A POW doesn't have to PAY some lawyer to be treated like ____!!!

        - a POW's actions are frustrated if not consistent with compliance.

                  In my case I feel like the protagonist from Orwell 1984. The system is so warped that it flies in the face of common sense, and that I'm about to be sent to the brainwashing camp.
