Can I make my ex pay for weekends he doesn't visit the children.
    It isn't for work ?
for babysitting for my free time
I thought he could pay for a sitter on the Friday to Sunday as he is
to take the children. Some one told me to try . I don't think so

Has child/spousal support been decided? If you are at the stage where you are still completing Financial Statements then I would include the amount in the child care section.

    Couldn't hurt to try!!

Sad to hear that your ex doesn't spend time with his children every opportunity he has.

That is an interesting question. I have never heard what happens in cases where parents don't utilize their visitation rights. If you are the custodial parent, I would think that you would probably have a hard time getting compensation for time when your spouse didn't see the kids. Although, as always I am not a laywer. I have just never heard of such a thing!

As Grace said, it never hurts to ask. Although it seems to me if your ex does not utilize their visitation they could potentially risk losing it.

here is the problem , I have a court document stating he doesn't have
to pay day care . I did this when I changed my daughter's name
I don't think I will have any luck.
He does pay his support every month no problem.
I guess I should just let be .

Out of curiosity, why did you change your daughter's name?

we split up when we she was 1month old.
I figured I wanted her to have my name
            I actually kinda regret it
