  • Serving Application

I just want to make sure I am understanding this correctly. An application Form 8 and 35.1 Affidavit in support of claim for Custody or access, may be served by mail on the respondent? It does not have to be served in person?

It states to mail a copy of the documents with Form 6 (Acknowledgement of Service), so does that mean the respondent has to fill out Form 6 and return it to the sender? Or does the Sender fill it out and attach a copy with the documents?

    Thank you,

I'm not an expert but it may be possible to server by e-mail if the other party consents. Still have to file the form 6 with the court so minor savings.
