  • Swearing of documents

I need to update CS and having getting no response from my EX about her 2019 income. (Joint Custody / Equal access).

I'm guessing there is a reason that it's not being shared and thinking that I should just bring a simple motion forward and get disclosure to compel her to produce.

Is there still a requirement for me to have the documents sworn or commissioned or is it deemed to be sworn and affirmed upon electronic filling.

I'm in Ottawa if that's relevant.

    Thanks in advance

If you are filing a motion then yes you have to have them done properly and have her served properly too.

Ya, my experience is the requirement for affirming/swearing was only waived for March/April and then it was assumed you would get it done either in person or via zoom (which last I saw costs $70 per document!)
