  • FRO and Minutes of Settlement

The FRO told me that they can not act on "Minutes of Settlement" and that the Minutes have to be registered with the Court.

Is this easy? Can I do this myself or does my lawyer have to get involved. The minutes are signed by applicant, respondent and respective lawyers.

    Appreciate any help.

You need to have it before judge for endorsement.
Were minutes created and signed for Case Conference or Settlement Conference? You need CC/SC judge to sign it.

I've never been to court other than to register agreement. Never been before a judge. No case conference. This is just an annual adjustment.

I've never heard of having to register minutes of settlement by oneself before, but then again the cases I'm aware of were always before a judge. You might get some info by contacting the Ministry of the Attorney General (they deal with issues related to courts):
