      This is just some food for thought. I'm am not commenting on whether the medication is required or not, nor if the EX is being reasonable or not.

      Depending on your childrens age. I found this book helped my D12 and S13, understand that they have the right to have all their questions answered and to 'decide' to a certain point what treatment they want to receive. In my case; D12 was afraid of experimental laser treatment for her burn scars.

      Some of the exercises in the book helped us talk it out. D12 wrote out her questions, and I called the specialist to explain she had additional questions.
