  • Adding witnesses on 17E?

I would like to know how many witnesses I can add and can they be removed if they are not available if found out before trial?

Just wondering if its even worth adding them now. A few have shift work.

How do I take them off after the trial management conf.?

I am not sure about the rules. I can only give you my experience. I didn't have to list all my witnesses before trial. I did list them though in my book of evidence. The other side also didn't file anything listing witnesses. However the morning of the first day of trial judge asked us who we were calling. Originally other side said no one. Judge advised that wasn't prudent. Other side then said 2 people that she was going to use as witnesses. However in the end she only used one of them.

Serve them with subpoenas. Add only a few witnesses. And make sure they are good ones.
