  • common law relationship-not living together

Is it possible a court in Ontario can deem, someone who has had an 8 year relationship with someone...but does not live with them?

not sure what your question is. If someone has had an long term relationship but never lived together it is not considered common law. If they lived together for a set amount of time or had a child while living together then it is considered common law.
