The father was DESCRIBED BY YOU as loving the kids and having a good relationship with them and that he had regretted what he did and had been affected by depression. He felt remorse and expressed it.

My post was not side with dad, it was suggest that you look at the whole person and not just the one incident. Your description was not that of a lifelong abuser or sexual preditor.

YOU had not felt that the situation required you to go to the authorities and press charges. I was going by your description, that is all I had, and you were not describing a lifelong pathological personality, you were describing someone who fell apart and made a mistake.

My posts clearly show my bias against someone like you who twists words and situations around to suit whatever they want at the moment. This isn't about bias against women, this is about me thinking you are an ass.

It was a story being told about a father, by a mother, that painted him in a poor light, and those stories pretty much always push your buttons.

mess isnt biased. if it was such an extreme situation you should have reported him to the authorities. By not reporting him you are basically saying that you are okay with it, that you are okay with a 13 or whatever age child being raped. You had an opportunity to help a child (okay so maybe the child is a stranger, but if you saw a person beating their child on the street would you walk by?) and all you had to do was report it to the police.

LOL, as a woman, I really find this funny ...... it has been a while since I was on, but I just HAVE to say something! As a woman, I will kindly protect myself - no need for anyone to come to my rescue - AND - in many parts of my life from wanting to enter university (which I paid for myself - without ANY help from mother, father, uncle, grandparents, brother or sister), to breastfeeding it has ironically been women who have been there to make negative comments ....... not men. It is apparent that these are the kind of attacks the "ex" was subjected to ........... and if she did actually win ......... even a penny (because that is what this is really all about when we are talking about adult children who work for an Olympic stable) ...... it is all about money - so anyhow, the windfall would be due to the kind of manipulation she has done on this site.

For the benefit of all, I would like to point out a few things about the internet:

1) People have lots of opinions, and they will usually be different than yours.
2) People like to complain on the internet. Some people care about your problems. Most do not.
3) People are rude on the internet. Not always, but it should in no way be shocking when it occurs.
4) People take things personally when #1-3 come into play in an online discussion. You shouldn't care enough about their opinions for it to bother you. They don't care about yours.
5) People are not required to be nice to you, or to agree with you, or to be sympathetic to your plight. Some are, and good on them, but the rest of us have our own problems, thankyouverymuch.
6) Moderators are not your white knight. Moderators are not your referee. Moderators are not public servants. Moderators delete spam accounts, porn images and old threads. Be thankful that anything beyond this gets done and deal with your own problems.

Computer files can be renamed "13 yr old" from "well acted scene by consenting adult".
