Default Motion for contempt

I'm I allowed to file a motion for contempt while judge's decision for a long motion is still pending (over 2 months now) to be released? Rule of thumb is up to 6 months for a judge to release his decision which in my case time is really really critical.

Children's mother is clearly in contempt by leaving the decision (not to come on access) up to the children, she continue on her alienation practices while she's "indirectly" encouraged by judge's delay in releasing his judgement, which also is affecting (deeply) children's relationship with me. My access is completely seized now by the alienator mother.
