  • Why a smooch with your pooch could make your teeth fall out!

Ok, this should go without saying... don't share your lips with your favourite mutts' lips:

Kissing your dog could cause gum disease, pet owners warned | Mail Online

there will be heartbreak in my house tonight, my 2 mutts will be expecting their smooches.. but eww... Never Again!

I've emailed a good friend to ask him about validity of the article. He is a specialist in the field (one of 10 in Canada) and also a dog owner.

My take on the article is that you should definitely be concerned if you have poor oral health yourself. The article's headline does not belie the content of the article.

I'm more concerned with door knobs at public washrooms.

Poor pooches, no more kisses! Can always kiss them on the head or 'cheek'
