  • Respondent or Applicant Question

This may be a silly to stupid question but I am bringing a Motion To Change to custody and CS due to my son now living with me FT.

I will not be using a lawyer for this proceeding. If I am bring a motion to change do I become the Applicant or do I always stay the Respondent?

We have been to family court and have a custody agreement, but now I am changing it so does that also change me from respondent as I have previously have been to Applicant because I am bringing the new motion forward?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you already went to court then whoever you were in that continues but you become the MOVING PARTY in application.
