  • Commissioner for taking affidavits

I need to get an affidavit signed in front of a lawyer, justice of the peace, notary public or commissioner for taking affidavits.

Which would be the cheapest route to go?

Can this be done at the court house?

    affadavit signature

a court official can do it..........usually when you are filing with them you can do this but signatures have to be done in front of them....essentially all parties need to be present.......not sure if there is charge if you are not filing there though

      GGG,

Some courts also have a Family Law Information Centre which are usually staffed by court clerks - They could also commission your affidavit.

Another option is most city halls have a commissioner for taking affidavits on staff.
