  • divorce & division of property

    Hello,

I would like to know if a divorce can be granted before division of property and custody issues are settled?

I would love for everything to go smoothly but know that it won't be that way.

    If anyone could advise me.

    thanks,
    Grenouille

      "richardsmith" is correct.

You can request to have all monetary issues set aside and seek the divorce. If the other party will not voluntarily sign the request, you can proceed to court or you also have the option of waiting 365 days and then you can be granted a divorce void any signature or agreement from the other party.
