You are under no obligation to accept this deal. You don't say how long you were married but 15 years of spousal support seems ridiculous if she has had an established business before separation and business is now doing well.

What did you pay for mediation? Compare that to what you will pay in spousal support for 15 years with this current deal. From your description, keep in mind if her business does well you may not pay anything. On the other hand, you don't want to be her Employment Insurance if things sour in ten years.

Failure with mediation doesn't mean ending up at trial. You have a learned a lot through this process, take it and use it. Make reasonable offers based on the accurate financial disclosure you now have. Journal and document this process and if it goes to court be sure to detail that she didn't make a true financial disclosure, even though she surely knew how much money she was earning. Her negotiations were not in good faith, and she did not have a reasonable offer on the table.

You could try mediation again with a diferent firm, and shop around and see what approach the mediator takes, where they were trained etc and enter into a process you feel more comfortable with.
