  • Simple question..

Have asked but maybe not in the right way...

Partner has been separated 2 years, just went to court first time in December..interim support granted.

She has stated again and again that she wishes to buy his half of the mortgage free matrimonial home...how long can she stall? Because the house has been appraised..she knows what she will need to get..but has done NOTHING!! They go back in 3 weeks..can the judge tell her to pay up or put house up for sale, or do they give her an amt of time?

Very frustrating as we cannot do anything til this is done.

There are a bunch of threads on selling the matrimonial home. Do a search of that and see what you find.

Based on my thread, anyone can stall for however long they want, no one gets penalized and the one that wants to move things forward gets screwed.
