  • Calling witness to trial

I am going to trial in 3 weeks.
If I want to call my ex's supervisor as a witness at trial,
Do I just fill out the SUBPOENA TO WITNESS form & serve it to the witness?

Does anyone have more information on this?
I am self-represented in court so anything would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Chris

Witness to what? How is it relevent to the trial?
We have no fault divorce in Canada, so unless your witness is important to a custody issue, then what do you need a witness for?

How do you call witnesses to trial if you are on a trial list and don't know the exact date the trial will be heard?

DowntroddenDad: the issue is my spouse claim health condition preventing from working full-time but a doctor note indicating there were dispute at work with how the reduced time should be taken so the witness is need to confirm the working hours & any issues at work. Do you see any angle with this?

Serene: I think you need to wait until knowing the exact trial date then serve the F23 to the witnesses. Maybe others can confirm this.
