Childs input

Headed to trial soon (unless it gets postponed yet again). Cannot wait to put this ten year ordeal behind us.

For those of you who have been through it, I am wondering how common it is for a judge to seek the input of the children involved.
My kids are young teenagers.
There are 2 Voice of the Child reports done by a social worker now, and will be used as evidence.
Will a judge verify with children that these are, in fact, their current wishes? My one child was very firm and clear in the most recent VOC. The other child was a bit more vague, but has since stated that they agree with their sibling (although this is not written in the VOC) in choice of schedule. Just wondering if there is ever any child involvement.
