  • Help!! i type too slow and i get logged off before i am finished

I must have had about ten replies vanish because there is no obvious sign that I am logged out and when i hit the submit button my reply or post is lost. I type too slow and i get logged off before i am finished. I have problems with the tip of a finger cut off, and pain in my fingers and hands...... been on the wait list for more than a year and a halfnow. So i type and then i hit the submit button and whoa I get the do you want to log in page! I am trying to remember to copy my typing ctrl-c - relogging in from scratch and reopening thread. Finally I do a ctrl-v and then finally hit the submit button. Any ideas on how to lengthen the inactive timer????? Yes typing time in a reply box is concidered inactivity here.

If there is a way to increase the time inactivity so I get more time to type??

Yeah, that sucks and I think it's happened to all of us at one point or another. I'd suggest typing in notepad or something and then copy/paste it into the reply box.

Type a few lines and then use the "preview post" button and then go back to typing a few more lines.

Or type replay in some text editor (notepad) and then copy it to replay window in forum...

Type what you want. Scroll over what you have typed. Right click your mouse. Click on copy. Then hit post reply. If it has logged you out then lock back in and do "post reply". then right click and select "paste" what you had previously copied will be pasted. no note pad etc.
