  • She had me arrested on a lie

    Hello-
first off I want to thank you for all your advice in the past and just want to share my story from tonight

    heree we go
Keep in mind through this whole story that my wife wants to take the kids back to NEw Brunswick and I told her for the last two weeks that she can go anytime but the kids cant leave untill the seperation agreement is finished ( which we were close)

So I went out shopping with the children tonight and when I come home my wife had been drinking all night. She was in the washroom and I went on our computer, she went out for a smoke, grabbed another beer and came over to me and said "I wasnt finished watching my movie" I said "hold on give me a minuite" and she started to unhook the moniter from the laptop saying "you said I could take this", well yes I did but she is not leaving untill the seperation agreement is signed so why get petty now.

Anyway her cell ring (by her cell I mean ours because we both uise it as it is our only cell, she just useds it more than me). I grab it and she jumps on me I try to shrug her off and walk away and as she is drunk she falls. she gets up and grabbes me again when I get away (I never once laid a finger on her I am not that type of guy) she calls the cops and has me arrested for domestic, saying that I pushed her.

so now I am kicked out of my home, all the bills are in my name, mortgage, her van, hydro I mean all, so I am broke and cant afford to eat let alone get a place for myself. now she has the kids and I cant go back to the house. I have to see my lawyer this morning when they open and see what I can do

Thanks for listining I just needed to blow off some steam cause this shit is crazy, I have never so much as had a parking ticket but because of her I got to get handcuffed and arrested inform of my kids

Something similar happened to a friend of mine but he had to spend 3 days in a medium security prison, if you can believe it. I think it took him about a year to get it cleared up, but he did.

The judge commented that he couldn't believe that he was actually hearing the case and that he shouldn't have been arrested in the first place, let alone jailed in a prison. It ended up biting his ex on the ass, but it was pretty tough on him until it was cleared up.

Good luck with this and make sure you fight it all the way to court if it goes that far.

No you are not. False allegations are very common in family law cases. That's the most effective method of alienating men from their children and setting up a status quo against them. I have never heard about any woman getting charged for mischief even after allegations had been proven to be false.

I've heard that there is a 'One free pass' rule. i.e. due to the stress, emotional upheaval, anger etc. etc. etc. at time of separation, one can get away with making false allegations that would otherwise be considered criminal. But after that, the accuser should be held responsible for any false allegations. No idea whether this is the case in real-world though.

Funny how you can get away with incarcerating someone but they don't give you a free pass if you hit someone. I'm not saying that you should get a free pass on that, but either both should be allowed under stress, or neither.

Terrible situation. No doubt the CAS will be around to investigate if the kids were home at the time of the alleged incident.

Yeah they can call the cops every time and hear a bleeding heart for a while anyway, my ex called on Easter Sunday when I tried to drop off their Easter bunny's LOL funny now.... The cops knows now she is a freak and just roll their eyes when they show up. So get used to it, but they will learn who the crying wolf freaks really are. I'm up to number 6 or maybe 8?? funny every time. Airport was the best but I'm off topic sorry.
