  • Form 13.1 - PART 1: INCOME

    Hello Folks,

I am filling in form 13.1, as my lawyer handed me this form and give it to her as soon as possible. Can you please let me know that in part-1 Income section of this form, do I need to fill monthly income or it yearly income.

I am confused with this form. Are there any websites where some help are given.

    Thanks,

    Hi Rao,
My own income varies somewhat from month to month, I am self-employed and also receive income from several sources, for example one client pays every 5 weeks.

In part 1, the form asks for your income per month. What I did was total my income for the year and divide by 12 and enter that figure.

      Thank you Mess.

What I confused with is this line which is in part 1 - Income.

for the 12 months from (date)
      to (date)

This line shows for the 12 months. If I am entering a monthly income then why it is asking for a 12 months date

for the 12 months from (date)
      to (date)

Sorry, I don't see that section. At the bottom of page 2 is a block with sections Income Source and Amount Received/Month and then numbered lines 1. Employment Income 2. Commissions, etc.

This is how mine works. But to answer your question, you would decide on a time frame like 'June to May' and then enter the total amount for that period.

Is this possibly a worksheet your lawyer's office gave you, and they will fill out the actual form?

          Thank you for the response.

In section 7(b), if I have bought something after the marriage, then should I be including it. If I have to include that item then what value should I show on the date of the marriage, as on the date of the marriage I didn't had that stuff. Should I show zero there.
PART 7(b): GENERAL HOUSEHOLD ITEMS AND VEHICLES
Show estimated market value, not the cost of replacement for these items owned on the dates in each of the columns below. Do not deduct encumbrances or costs of disposition; these encumbrances and costs should be shown under Part 8, “Debts and Other Liabilities”.

            Hi Rao,
The form you have is from 2005, this one is from 2010, it is slightly different.

I'm sure your form is fine for the courts, it is just a little different format. To be accurate on your form, state from Mar 2009 to Feb 2010, take the total and divide by 12 and enter that figure in the box.
