Separated in 2013, interim agreements made twice with both parties residing in Quebec.

I moved to Ottawa in July, 2014. Ex moved to Ottawa in June, 2015. Ex telling QC government (Revenue QC, which is intermediary for CS/SS payments from me) that her primary address is still in QC as she has not yet chosen a new "permanent location". Revenue QC has told her (according to her) that they are fine with this.

Children have been attending school in Ottawa since September 2014. Their doctor, dentist are in Ottawa. They have Ontario health cards. They have no remaining ties to QC. Their mother does not work, attend school or reside in Quebec (she barely works in Ottawa). She has a legal aid lawyer in QC.

Should this proceed to Ontario courts instead of going to trial in QC? My QC lawyer says divorce trial set for Dec. 4.
