  • Response to Application Form 8--ontario

I live in Ontario. I have just been served an application (form 8 General) from my ex to go back to court (because apparently the first 3 years we spent in court were not enough!) . I understand that I must file a Form 10 Answer in response. Does anyone know if I need to also file an affidavit outlining the specifics of the case? My ex did... but I am not sure if I need to in my response or if I can merely detail the specifics in my form 10.

    Thanks!

I don't see why you wouldn't, especially if you have fact that can counter whatever claim she is making in her application.

Response to original application eventual becomes part of the trial record, unlike conferences
