I finally received the papers in the mail from my ex motion to vary cs. The papers have mail stamp dated Aug 22, but whoever addressed the envelope got the postal code wrong and it was crossed out by post office and corrected. Therefore I just received it today Sept 12 with great delay. It has a Court Date listed on Sept 28. She lists herself as self represented so I don't know what to do to change the Court Date. I don't have a lawyer yet and have a lot of paperwork to get ready for this court.
I have a feeling that it will cost me some money to have the lawyer change it for me and was wondering if I could do it myself and what are my steps and If I even have enough time to do it.
The court is in Toronto.
