Thanks for the encouragement! I feel like I am all alone posting out there. Wasn't expecting that at all but I guess there are a lot of people who went through a lot and feel passionately. I don't fault them - I just wish they weren't so quick to assume things. Anyway, there's no convincing LF32 that's for sure! I will keep doing what I need too. In a way it is fine that my ex keeps sending the false emails and lies about me, because hopefully I can use that later to show his true colours. It all really sucks though. Was hoping for a bit more support here but looks like I will at least be able to get lots of info and know what kinds of questions I may be asked.

Thanks for your message and encouragement. I have actually received several "behind the scenes" messages from people who saw the beating I was taking!
I agree that it is terrifying to have things said/written about you that are not true. I do need to develop a thicker skin. Maybe being on this forum will help with that.
I would love to chat more in the future - came looking for people to support my choices and give advice so might not always get unbiased views on the main forum.
