You can do title searches online at all kinds of places. Here's a company I have used many times:

Documental Search House: Name searches, NUANS, PPSA searches, Corporate searches, Title searches, NUANS searches Business Registrations Toronto Ontario North York Richmond Hill

Try the Land Registry Office for the area that the house is in. You will probably have to go there in person and pay a fee for the information. (A title search)

But why don't you just ask your STBX about it?

It would be information on her financial statement, so it's up to her to disclose it. If she doesnt disclose it, then ask what happened to it?

Yes, I would be entitled to a portion of the gains from the house value during our marriage (for the Financial Statements).
