Hi Everbody,

About 2 weeks ago ,a pink vertical line appeared on right side my computer .
screen.Did it happen to anybodyelse.Any suggestion,how to get rid of it or is it a danger sign for computer?

If it is not permanent, I wouldn't worry too much. it could be a sign that your monitor or graphics card may be on its last leg or a video driver or configuration problem.

Oh yes! it is permanent.It is clearly visible on desktop,any site ,wordpad etc.

You have been helping me with my divorce,custody battle,taxes.............I promised myself not to bother you for this but you are a god send HELP..

So what do you think mynext step should be?

Hi Sufferer

I would be inclined to believe its the monitor and the first thing I would check. It sounds like the monitor is a CRT and you can pick used ones up for next to nothing these days.

I can't change my monitor as I have a laptop.
